Absolvoval studium designu u Prof. Zdeňka Kováře na Vysoké škole uměleckoprůmyslové v Praze. V roce 1991 založil designérské studio, které v současnosti působí pod názvem DESCENT s. r. o. Je předním průmyslovým designérem, který za svou tvorbu získal řadu ocenění – Red Dot Award, Good Design Award, IF Design či Národní cenu za design.
